About Muscoril:
Muscoril (Thiocolchicoside) is a muscle relaxant prescribed in the treatment of backache, sciatic pain, neuralgia, and Parkinsonism.
Thiocolchicoside (TCC) is a non-sedating muscle relaxant that has been shown to be safe and effective as monotherapy in the treatment of this problem. Thiocolchicoside Muscoril, a muscle relaxant agent, is frequently administered in association regimen with other drugs, such as anti-inflammatory drugs or vitamins. The muscle-relaxing effects of this class of medication are most likely the result of their ability to depress the central nervous system. It is also called sedative.
